Introduction

Protoplatz is a multi-protocol IoT gateway system designed to operate as the physical execution boundary between heterogeneous field devices and upstream enterprise or cloud systems.

The system functions as the canonical governance authority and deterministic control layer, owning the system state and protocol isolation boundary. It is not merely a connectivity gateway, but a dedicated infrastructure platform for industrial-grade execution.

Product Concept Overview

ProtoAccess is an optional intelligence execution layer that runs strictly nested within the Protoplatz gateway runtime. It applies policy and executes hardware-accelerated inference without bypassing the primary governance engine.

Execution Boundary & Governance

Every operation within Protoplatz is subject to the Governance Engine. This engine evaluates every inference result, owns operational authority, and can override ProtoAccess to maintain system integrity.

Protocol Coexistence

The system unifies fragmented protocol environments (Zigbee / Thread, LoRa / LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi / BLE, Cellular LTE, Modbus RTU, Ethernet with TSN) into a normalized data stream while maintaining hardware-enforced isolation between each protocol stack.
